What is the difference between die casting and injection molding techniques?

Die casting is an aluminum casting machine and injection molding molding machine or the formation of thermoplastic material, both of these devices are both printing objects. Definition of die casting is one type of casting by forcing molten plastic mold maker metal into a steel mold using high pressure. In this process the chamber connected to the die cavity is permanently submerged in molten metal. Whereas injection molding is a meterial thermoplastic formation where meterial is melted because the heat is injected by the plunger into a mold cooled by water to harden.

What is the difference between die casting techniques and injection molding techniques? The same tool for printing an object is different from the material used.

Technique Die Casting and Injection Molding Technique

Die casting technique  is a  tool or machine that can print objects at high pressure using high heating by injecting or injecting.

 

1. Die Casting Technique

Die casting is  casting by forcing molten metal into a steel mold. The process of die casting techniques includes:

The mold is sprayed with lubricant and closed. The lubricant helps control the temperature of the die casting and helps when removing from casting.
The printed metal is then injected into the die under high pressure. High pressure makes the casting as precise and smooth as the dough.
After the cavity is filled with temperature, it is kept until the casting becomes solid (in this process the time is shortened using cooling water).
Then the die is opened and casting The injection is done at high speed so that the entire cavity is filled before there is a hardened part, although the design is very difficult to be able to fill in very thick parts.
Often operations are carried out separating the casting from the rest, using a trim die with a power press or hydraulic press. This is so that the results are in accordance with the desired design.
 

The advantages of  die casting  itself are:

Holes can be made directly on parts.
can make copper, zinc, and aluminum molds that have heat-delivering properties. Aluminum is a natural conductor of electrical goods.
Zinc, copper and aluminum are environmentally friendly materials and can be easily recycled after they are used. All alloy metals (360, 380, 383 and 413) are made from recycled materials.
More durable than plastic.

2. Injection Molding Technique

Injection molding is a  machine used to print plastic with an injection molding system.

This process is carried out to hold both prints together. Pengapitan is a mold holder that experiences pressure during the injection and cooling process.

Calming, after injection, it is necessary to do a momentary calming so that the plastic injected into the mold is pressed and held to ensure that all sides of the mold cavity have been completely filled.
Cooling, plastic is cooled in the mold to get its solid form in the mold. In this process at the same time refilling the plastic material from the happer into the barrel with a rotating screw.
The mold is opened, the clamp unit is opened which separates the two molds, then discharges with the pen and injector plate which pushes and removes the printout.


Much of the equipment produced by  injection molding machines is  in the form of household appliances, car vehicle parts (dashboards and bodies), and electrical equipment.

Broadly speaking, the workings of the die casting and injection molding machines are different, which is seen from the machine used and also the material used to make the difference. Equally, both of these machines use injection methods which both produce the expression of objects designed according to needs.
