3 REASONS BLOGGERS MUST HAVE SIDE ACTIVITIES BESIDES WRITING

As a full time blogger in the middle of 2016, I have experienced the stress of doing blogging every day, when it was around 2-3 months I really just focused blogging without having any side activities, the result was not satisfaction but depression even the disease that I experienced, ranging from eye pain, back pain, to a stiff body due to lack of exercise (yes, the front of the latop continues all day).

Therefore, I want to share, share my experience as to why bloggers must have side activities outside of blogging / writing activities and the consequences if you only focus on writing, writing, and writing.

The following are 3 reasons why you should have a job / side activity outside of blogging activities:

1. Money will come long

To be honest, surely some of us blog because the goal is to get money, but unfortunately blogs are not fast way to get money, I can even say that a blog is a suck business. Not many bloggers in Indonesia can make a lot of money from their blogging activities.

The result? You will do various ways to bring traffic (in order to get more money) and finally depend on the CPM / CPC / conversion rate formula.

As the main income, the reality is that it is successful bloggers will take years (yearly, not monthly) until they can make their blog, just the disappointment you will get.

Therefore I strongly recommend that you have a job / income outside the blog, because frankly, in Indonesia blogging can not promise a good and stable income, unless your blog has been managed. making blogs as your main activity and income.

The average blogger that I know has another job outside of blogging, bloggers who say millions of income with thousands of traffic usually have other sources of income such as selling their own products / services, so it's not the blog that produces but as a bridge to other sources of income.

Tip: I suggest from the beginning you determine one type of monetization that focuses on generating traffic & money from one source first. So focus on developing your blog starting from 1 traffic source and 1 monetize type.

2. It's easy to get bored and tired

I used to write articles every day (1-3 articles / day), chasing the target quantity, but instead it became bored and bored. If you only take care of the blog alone, actually 1 article per day is already mostly, what you have is getting bored blogging because you feel forced, especially if with all the effort, traffic and income do not go up.

The result? You start to lose blogging motivation, you start to get bored and not creative in writing.

Therefore I strongly recommend that you have a job or side activity, in addition to eliminating the feeling of boredom, another positive thing we can get is that we can find new and fresh writing ideas out there.

During a full time blogging of 2-3 months, I rarely go out of the house, as a result of the head of mumet, easily stressed, bored, and tired myself, the results of writing, the less creative and just what they are. The idea must be explored, the idea cannot just come by itself, if you don't have lots of activities and experiences out there, I'm sure your knowledge and ideas will be very limited, as a result you will easily run out of ideas / material to write.

Therefore, make sure you have other activities that can make your mind refreshing, even better if the activity involves a lot of physical activities such as exercise.

3. You will be easily lonely and depressed

Based on my personal experience, blogging feels quite lonely especially at the beginning. His writing is all day and most internet browsing to relieve fatigue for a moment. The results are that we are easily stressed, feel lonely and depressed.

Because of that, I suggest doing activities outside of your environment, looking for social activities, don't let you forget and interact with people in the real world.

You can try to be active in organizational activities or join an existing community, but try to have a side job to get extra income, as I said at the beginning, a blog is a suck business, you cannot purely live from blogging on in the first years, don't rely on blogs, they are more suitable for long-term investments, so have other sources of income to support yourself. keyword research database

Those are the 3 main reasons why we as bloggers must have work / side activities outside of writing / blogging activities. The end of the word is still the spirit of writing and not forgetting our initial motivation in creating a blog. Keep writing, keep blogging and keep sharing.
